SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc. is a Certified Managing General Agency, comprised of insurance professionals who formerly managed the Skandia Companies, based in Miami, Florida. R.C. Chaffin, former President and CEO of the Skandia Companies, purchased the MGA Book of business in September, 1996 and formed SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc. Through the years, we have added select staff members and new company contracts to further strengthen our position in the industry.

Our premium volume has continually grown since we opened our doors in 1996. We are represented by more than 500 retail agents, primarily in the state of Florida. We are licensed to do business in multiple states and have offices in Coral Gables and Lake Mary, Florida.

SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc. offers our agents a broad range of property and casualty products through the companies we represent. Today, SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc. represents more than 50 companies, both admitted and non-admitted.
